A Lions Karate Kobudo Black Belt must complete the following:
Earn 1st Kyu with three weapons
Have three quality kata with each of the three 1st Kyu weapons
Have quality self defense with each of the 1st Kyu weapons
Have earned a Black Belt in another style also through Lions Karate – Taekwondo or Aiki Jutsu
